Charles Wheeler

Charles (Chuck) Wheeler received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Carleton University in 1975. After graduating, he honed his skills, working with local developers and architectural firms on projects large and small. Residential design work had always been Chuck’s primary focus and in the mid-1980’s Chuck established Wheeler Associates, a well-known Residential Design firm. Over the years Wheeler Associates produced hundreds of distinctive renovations and custom homes in the Ottawa area. Chuck’s work has received many awards and can be appreciated in most Ottawa neighbourhoods as well as in the Gatineau Hills, Ottawa Valley and Thousand Islands.

Janis Jones

Janis Jones studied Architecture at Carleton University. She then transitioned into Commercial Art as a founding partner in Aerographics, an acclaimed Ottawa-based Graphic Design firm, until 1989, when she returned to her first love, Residential Design.

Janis has since worked on many custom residences and consulted on several local development projects where her design skill and colour sense have garnered numerous awards. She is also a published children’s illustrator. She has been an active member of the Wheeler Associates Residential Design team for over twenty years and brings her special expertise to the Design Corporation.

Tony Sproul

Tony holds a Master of Architecture degree from Carleton University. With a specialization in residential design and construction, he has organized and led teams in the design and construction of residential projects of various scales including larger condominium developments. Tony has also managed projects with the federal government and has an expertise in high security programs. In addition to his experience managing institutional projects, Tony has been involved in various municipal transit projects, recreational facilities, corporate buildings and resorts.

Tony is a licensed member of the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA), Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) and is a LEED Accredited Professional. As the current OAA councillor representing the Eastern Ontario Region, Tony sits on a variety of boards and committees including: Ottawa Regional Society of Architects, Practice Advocacy Coordination Team, Public Interest Review Committee and the Ontario Association Applied Architectural Sciences Board of Directors.
